Rahul Gandhi gets introduced to India!

India's next PM- in- waiting(may be not too long) is on India tour.
Glad to see the young Gandhi rub shoulder with tribals, farmers and young students.
But I wonder why this India Tour just around the election hour?
He's been around in politics for sometime. (was in India doing nothing before entering politics)
But never he tried to travel beyond UP! I can sense a well-planned agenda
in Rahul Gandhi's keen interest in getting introduced to India ( Introduce himself to India!).
If the congress comes to power in the next elections,
we have a PM candidate from the Gandhi clan, whom the whole of India knows! Not just UP!

TATAs will find it tough to fund the Jaguar deal!

Tatas have acquired Jaguar for a huge sum.
But according to some analysts they will find
it tough to fund that mammoth deal!
TATAs are not very different from us.
We also buy cars using all our credit facility even when we can't afford it!

Free for all economy!

Our exchequer is under pressure!
Hope it can successfully bear the burden of farmers' loan waive-off
and central govt employees's pay hike.
Talk about the little and dangerous financial games politicians play!

Some more missed cartoons!

We're a world citizen!

The Tamasha called, ELECTION!

The country is heading towards a TAMASHA!
Five-year tamasha event, ELECTION!
And politicians are in a hurry to announce sops, waive-offs and pay-hikes!

Some missed cartoons, while I was away!

Happy women's day!

Let's celebrate women's day,
-when we celebrate girl-child's birth as much as boy-child's.
-when our dustbins are not used to dump unwanted girl-child.

Balasaheb Thackeray takes advantage of gag on Raj Thackeray!

Sharad Pawar is on crore-sharing spree!

The crores are raining!
Sharad Pawar seems to be in a 'CrORE' zone,
waiving off 60,000 crore farmer loans,
declaring crores as rewards for cricketers/selectors!
This money-raining will surely make other sports-persons
jealous, leftout and feeling like second-class citizens.

Want to see more sports events,
not only achieving great heights,
but also making lots of money!

Parents finally see a lucrative career in cricket!

Cricket has finally breached that mental block
and emerged as a career candidate as far as the parents are concerned.
Thanks to the booming Indian economy,
cricket has become a goldmine in terms of marketing.
There's so much money that, BCCI doesn't hezitate
to declare a big booty for the winning U-19 cricketers.
Ofcourse, they deserve it!

Vote budget 2008!

As Election countdown begins, the priority of the ruling govt
changes drastically. We were told that the UPA govt is pretty
serious about safeguarding the sanctity of our strong economy.
But as the Union Budget shows, the govt is more concerned
about the next elections.
Farmers loans are waived off in one stroke!
And who'll bear that burden of 60,000 crore?
You and me, who pay taxes regularly and our economy,
which is looking bit tired already.
Funnily, all the alliance partners of UPA govt have started
the campaign to grab their share of credit in 'waive off' decision.
