Finally a hundred at Lord's for Sachin!
Of the three veterans in Team India only Rahul Dravid could manage to score a hundred at Lord's. But did you know that Sachin also got a hundred?
Check out in this cricinfo cartoon
Someone on twitter said, 'cruel but brilliantly hilarious'.
I guess Sachin has been cruel to so many bowlers, he'll forgive me. ;-)

Dhoni isn't the best wicketkeeper batsman!
English wicketkeeper Matt Prior, after his aggressive hundred at Lord's, has been named by experts, as the best wicketkeeper batsman among the playing lot. Where does that leave our own Dhoni who is struggling to bring back his batting form?

The real match within the match!
The much awaited Test series between India and England begins at Lord's on thursday. Leading up to the series there have been media-created mini-contests like Strauss vs Zaheer, Sachin vs Anderson, Flower vs Fletcher etc.
There seems to be another contest which is more fascinating!

Rahulbaba's maths guru!
As a kid we were told that those who aren't good in studies join politics. But our politicians seem to be obsessed with complex numbers, often getting into scams of proportions which would scare any maths genius. And when get caught our politicians are ready with a maths formula, convincing us that the nation has lost nothing!
After Kapil Sibal's now-famous zero-loss 2G episode, Rahul Gandhi comes up with a another gem to show that 99% of terrorism is gone!

Better prepared for terror attacks?
Maharashtra govt boasts of being better prepared than 26/11. Better prepared to deal with the terror attacks? When will we be better prepared to stop the terror attacks?
Yes, the home minister RR Patil didn't make any 'bade bade shaharon...' statement. That way this govt was much better prepared than 26/11!

Mumbai yet again!
After sending my cartoon for the day, news came in about the bomb blasts at three places in Mumbai. Though I've been away from Mumbai for the last one year, the tragedy affected me as if I was in the middle of grieving Mumbai. Sad, angry and helpless like any Mumbaikar, I had to put all those feelings in a cartoon. Had to finish it in a hurry because of the deadlines.

How a cartoon is born?
If there's one formula to create a cartoon, then we would have ended up seeing similar cartoons from all the cartoonists. Luckily each cartoonist has an individual process to come up with ideas/cartoons. Some get ideas in solitude, some other cartoonists can think only in a chaos.
I'm sharing here a cartoon which was created from nowhere. I began with doing a lazy doodle, but a series of thoughts took me to a cartoon idea. Hope you'll enjoy this process and hopefully it will help some beginners.

Chicken or headless chicken?
Team India was widely criticised for not going for a win in the last Test against West Indies. Dhoni had two choices after losing the opener off the first ball, to chicken out of the chase, or still go for the chase. If we had lost the Test, he would have been labelled as headless chicken for his chasing decision!
